The runtime engine is unfortunately a snapshot of Dabo from back
before that particular screencast was made. I'm surprised that the
first part worked for you! It isn't meant to be a development tool;
it's merely a way for people to take a look at Python/Dabo without
having to install a bunch of separate prerequisites.
Due to the various restrictions, relying on "released" versions is
going to leave you behind. Our current release is nearly 6 months
old, and while there have been lots of new stuff added to Dabo since
then, the only thing added in any subsequent point releases have been
a few bug fixes. And any problem you find in those releases will most
likely be greeted with "it's fixed in the current version of the code".
As a result, I would strongly advise you to install TortoiseSVN on
your machine, and work with the latest code in the repository.
