I am able, but is is not as handy as scrolling up.  and it is enough of a 
problem that if someone has trimmed what I am looking for, I may not bother, 
which probably makes for a less effective response.

Exactly the problem I am avoiding.  I think cutting has caused more problems 
than extensive quoting, so I will continue to error on the side of efficient 
problem solving.
