        The effects of dBitmapButton vary by platform. On OS X, for example, 
none of them work. I had assumed that they worked on Windows and Gtk, but 
apparently not. They depend on the way the underlying toolkit (Gtk, in your 
case) handles the drawing of objects and the events they respond to.

        Unfortunately, I don't have a Gtk system available right now to work 
on. Can anyone else who is running Gtk confirm this behavior? If so, I can 
change the docs to reflect this.
