I'm sure we can remove the test if you really want. It all boils down to
what we are testing and whether we care. At the moment it always passes
even if it fails but the problem is that the die message is printed rather
than the skip itself [it really does skip but the skip message is lost and
overridden by the die message].
Would you be happier if we managed to work out why the skip reason was not
being displayed?
