Merry & Pippin sort of tag along with Frodo and Sam for comic relief
in the beginning. They get captured by orcs, befriend the Ents, help
conquer Saruman and say the Lord of the Nazgul.
You haven't read "Lord of the Rings"? Get cracking before the movie
