As a side note, can you have another look at the cygwin smoke failures for

    lib/Test/Harness/t/strap-analyze.....FAILED at test 2
    lib/warnings.........................FAILED at test 410

which is a line-ending mismatch in taint mode.
Currently cygwin has other tests failing, but above two have appeared
somewhere else too, but I can't remember where.
