I'd rather not temper too much with F<mktest.out> as there are people (like Merijn :) who use custom parsers for it.

Meanwhile, will this do?

~/Test-Smoke/smoke$ ./smokestatus.pl -c smoke58x_config
Smoking patchlevel 20562
12 out of 18 configurations finished in 6 hours 37 minutes.
9 configuration(s) showed failures (F).
0 failure(s) in the running configuration.
6 configuration(s) still to do, in est. 3 hours 18 minutes.

Just tell me what you want out of this and I'll try to implement it.

Oooohhhh - gime gime gime!

That's even *better* than what I wanted :-)

Another question: Bu default I want to -Duseshrplib -Uusemymalloc on *all* smoke tests on Solaris - what is the easiest way to do this? Do I hack Policy .sh (which seems a bit fragile) or put something in the perlcurrent.cfg & perl562.cfg files? If so, would the following do the trick?

/-Duseshrplib/
-Duseshrplib
/-Dusemymalloc/
-Dusemymalloc
