I think the best way to address this communication problem is to write a ID that defines the terms, and updates the IANA registry by adding a column with the short name.
Suggested names: 0 = PKIX-Cert, 1 = PKIX-TA, 2 == DANE-TA , 3 == DANE_Cert For the selectors 0 = Cert, 1 === Key For the digest algorithms we will just use the algorithm names SHA-256 and SHA-512. Feel free to suggest better names, Olafur |
