I'd like to quickly thank the working group participants for all of
their hard work over the years.

We sent ~9,600 emails (or ~1400 threads :-)), and published 8
documents (including draft-ietf-dane-smime).
We also had some fun, made some friends, and learnt a lot.

We are now seeing deployment in the mail world, and I think that we
can be proud of what we've accomplished...

I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad
idea in the first place.
This is like putting rabid weasels in your pants, and later expressing
