I am going to have to call upon all of your patience.
Seems the db server sold out....and are kicking us out.
Not just db....but thousands of mailing lists.
They are going to a OneList type format......which means
ads......yuck !
I can't believe they are doing this at this time of year.
They have said the move to a diferent server should be painless.....
i will try my best to make it so.
IF db should disappear .....rest assured, it will only be for
as long as it takes me to get it up again. A day or so.
The hell of all this is.....i have already started the wheels in motion
to move db to a better server anyway....but in MARCH !
Which, by the way, will happen anyway. So.....we will be moving
twice in the near future.
I have EVERYONES addresses ! No fear.
The DaneBytes WEB SITE is NOT moving until March....
soooooo, make note of that address......i will post any news
there...on the front page.....if we should disappear, that is.
We may not.....we're going to find out if i am really any good at
this !
On a bright note.....when i move it again in March.....that will be
the last move.
On an iccky note......you will all have to change your mail filters !
I will keep you all posted by private email, if need be.
I hope this isn't happening this week !
