I am getting the error "Fail: pull_firsts_middles called badly" when
recording. I invoke darcs as
"darcs record --ask-deps", select two out of about thirty hunks, and press 'd'.
I select the first
patch offered as an extra dependency and press 'd' again. Darcs asks for a name
and a comment
and then fails. This is true for 1.0.3 and for the current unstable branch.
I tried building a darcs from sources as of April 12th (unpulling the last
interesting-looking
patch to PatchChoices.lhs and all patches following it). This version is able
to record the patch
successfully.
I can attach a copy of the repo I was working against and a transcript of the
failure, but it's
largish, so let me know if it's wanted.
