No, that would be very inconvenient for me. Patches are automatically
sorted into the right mailbox when they arrive; I can then tag them
with various keywords, decide what to do with them, and so on. I can
also work offline.

I can sympathise with that, but reviewing and applying patches is a
lot of work; so I believe that it should be made convenient for the
person doing that, even if that entails a small amount of
inconvenience for the contributors.
