AFAIK, no. > What are the makefile targets which have no cabal equivalents? The tags files, obviously. Currently cabal can't handle building and installing the user documentation except on a purely bespoke basis. Even there we have problems, because preproc.hs needs to be compiled, but not installed. This also applied to other intermediary binaries, like darcsman and microbench. Probably whatever we come up with will be an ugly kludge. The "installserver", though I think darcs.cgi is abandoned. The "darcs-snapshot" rule, which qualifies the binary with a version number. The haddock (api-doc) and dist targets might have different semantics under cabal. I dunno about the "hoogle" and "windowsinstaller" targets. I doubt the continuous compilation (ci) and profiling (darcs_p) targets. > Should we open bugs for them? I don't know. I guess it depends on what the roadmap is for cabal becoming the "blessed" build system, and also on whether we ever intend to port the above targets across to Cabal. Last time I was looking at this, ISTR someone saying something depressing like "I don't think we'll ever be able to get rid of make entirely" :-( _______________________________________________ darcs-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osuosl.org/mailman/listinfo/darcs-users
