It allows: * Highlighted diffs (eg. http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/Cheese/Yummy?diff&to=75ffcc1 ) * viewing the individual diff, more or less (eg. http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/Cheese/Yummy?diff&from=1e9b2bf&to=f57a439 ) * viewing an individual diff's revision (eg. http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/Cheese/Yummy?revision=f57a439 ) * viewing the change represented by several patches (eg. http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/Cheese/Yummy?diff&from=e55885d&to=ea884fc ) * viewing the history of just a particular file (eg http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/Cheese/Yummy?history ) or the entire repo ( http://gitit.johnmacfarlane.net/_activity ) Obviously all of this has equivalents in Darcs's commandlines and XML output - that's how filestore is implemented, after all. But it is much much easier with even the basic GUI Gitit provides. It makes the easy things easy. -- gwern _______________________________________________ darcs-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osuosl.org/mailman/listinfo/darcs-users
