Sorry, not whenever you visit http://allmydata.org/trac/tahoe/ browser , but whenever you examine a file's contents by clicking on the filename on that page it does "darcs annotate".

Also whenever you click on a directory then it does "darcs query contents" for *each* entry in that directory. Darcs query contents often takes 10's of seconds for a single entry. For example:
