This finally bugged me enough I got round to fixing it :)
I added this to my .zshrc:
export FPATH=~/.zsh:$FPATH
And put the file here in .zsh/_darcs.zsh:
http://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/darcs-2/browser/trunk/contrib/_darcs.zsh
And it works - I can now complete files after the command. However, I found a
bug in `add --list-option` which slightly breaks it:

It's still a million times better than it was though.
