We already have a custom of tagging/merging [probably not a policy as it's been assumed we should do this]. We already have the 2.5 tag on http://darcs.net/releases/branch-2.5, but it's not yet been merged into unstable because there is a conflict, and the conflict-resolution patch depends on some patches in the experimental screened branch. Also, it seems patch448 is stuck on a goof on my part, potentially sending against the wrong repo or something of the sort. Darcs devs: it might be a good idea to review and pull in the non-conflicting parts of patch448 so that we at least know what we're up against as far as pulling the tags is concerned. I don't think there is a particular need to rush, but if there was one, we could do a unstable+branch-2.5 conflict-resolution patch, which would then conflict against the screened+branch-2.5 conflict resolution patch. This would lead to a messy nested conflict, but that's dogfood for ya. -- Eric Kow <http://www.nltg.brighton.ac.uk/home/Eric.Kow> For a faster response, try +44 (0)1273 64 2905 or xmpp:[email protected] (Jabber or Google Talk only)
