I notice no slow-down anywhere except it takes about 30 seconds on startup
to display. but I usually leave it open as I use it constantly. I shoot
a lot of soccer games but delete all that I do not show.

previously used bibble, bibble-pro and aftershock

tks for a great, well maintained program. I use the dev version for
openSUSE compiled by darix and have not lost an image. couple of times had
db scrambled but was able to recover. do not recall ever replacing from
backup. also had to revert to a prior build on a couple of occasions.
