Hello again,

I have stumbled on this several times during the evening;
at the end I came to the conclusion that it was a couple of images that caused it.

This dropbox folder
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sjdw2ig20lg8ex9/AAAY5QGR78TO-nct4-lEfpSaa?dl=0
... contains the first backtrack-file (link below) and several more that came after,
and the two nikon D700 RAW (NEF) images that seems to be troublesome.

I usually do NOT modify the raw images at all, so this surprises me a bit.
The images taken just before and after these two doesn't cause any problems.
(These are part of a 37-image panorama, so they were taken within seconds of each other)

I leave these as is, so that someone has the opportunity to look into the problem and see
whether it is DT or the images.

Right,

This is a link to the backtrace, it will remain accessible for an undefined *short* time.

Additonally, if it might matter:

$ lsb_release -d
Description:    Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS

Hello,

I have
      a log (from running "darktable -d all 2>&1 | tee dt.log", dt
version 2.4.4/PPA on Ubuntu)
and a corresponding backtrace
as DT stops while looking through the available images in "Lighttable"
mode.

This was as I had just started browsing, using the PageDown key.

Do I send these to the list, or do you wish to have it somewhere else,
anywhere at all?
The backtrace might be useful, -d all is just a waste of electrons. Delete it
and forget that the option exists unless explicitly asked otherwise.
