If you can compile darktable yourself, you can adjust the line 937 in
src/libs/collect.c.
collate_key = tag_collate_key(name_folded);
And replace "name_folded" with "name".
I can create a pull request, but I don't know why the name is converted to be
case independent, in the first place.
