you might find useful my rename strategy:
'lc;exiv2 -T ./*.{nef,jpg}'
'exiv2 mv \-k \-r %y%m%d_%H%M%S_:basename: \.\/*.{nef,jpg}'
lc lowercases the filenames
change file-date to exif date-time taken
then renamed to YYMMDD_HHMMSS
year/month/day/hour/minute/second
plus original filename
190526_153344_dsc_5940.nef
