There are significant changes to the new 3.4 manual. It is using a new
technology called markdown instead of docbook, and the translation
procedures have not been fully worked out yet. Part of that will be to
investigate the feasibility of reusing existing translations. Once the
translation workflow has been defined, there’ll be an announcement here,
and work on translations for 3.6 can start.

The docbook manual for 3.4 has already been removed from the master branch,
and now exists only on the darktable-3.4.x branch. Whether it makes sense
to work on translating that is up to you, given that the docbook manual is
now end-of-life.
