I see it's not 3.4, but 3.4.1.1 (the latest). It's important, because
3.4.1 was broken, and 3.4 also had problems.
Deleting and reinstalling does not remove/fix potentially broken
configuration and database files.
If you want helpful responses, please provide more info, e.g. have you
ever had darktable installed on the same machine?
