OK, some followup on this: It was most likely my display profile. I
checked it and I had some strange and false colours. After re profiling
my display most things seems to be fine again.

So at least this had one good thing: I found my display was running with
a not appropriate profile. As I don't print photos that regularly (last
one is about one year old) I don't compare the results.

I will test the enhanced matrix a little deeper.
