Adding information to my prior post: It appears that when a style is used a tag for that style is automatically added to the image but if the image is later deleted the tag remains. This is also true if a new tag is created by the user for a single image and then later the image is removed the tag still sits within the system.
If I attempt to 'clean-up' my tag system, to hopefully make it more coherent and consolidate tags, there appears no way to eliminate old unused tags. How about some sort of rebuild switch that would update all the meta-data ... or should the 'run-indexer' in the core options do that already?
