Thanks for the report!

The script is developed on FreeBSD, where sed(1) is not GNU sed either.
However, it has a "-r" flag for GNU sed compatibility (the effective
flag being "-E") and I wrongly supposed it was the same on other
BSD-like systems...

Speaking about other systems, I never tested on Solaris and wonder if
users have any issues?
