ops! I missed part of the thread, I apologize :) Since fuzzy search solution solved my issue in case of tamron (model a16) I was happy with it, but of course, if it breaks other features, is not the right way. The problem still open. In the past, I already opened a ticket (http://developer.berlios.de/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=18777&group_id=9034) to lensfun project, and they closed: "Closed, as problem is in darktables handling of the database search". Sure a dt developer could speak whith greater authority than me :) Meanwhile, I will try to duplicate record in lensfun database file. Thanks!
