collections aren't stored, all images are always collected on the fly from
the database. if you want to store a collection you can store the query in
a preset. that comes close to a `collection' then. but if you for example
store a preset that looks for a particular tag and then attach that tag to
a new image, this image will also appear in that list from then on. so
these are always collected live.
i have no idea what jose has in mind, but i would think that part is going
to stay.
