I'm not sure I understand why the _blend_XXXX() code contains options  
for non LAB colorspace types. If only demosaic, in/output color  
profile modules operate in non LAB colorspace, and they are never  
blended in anyway.

Is this unreachable code?
Is it there for completeness for use in the future?

Sorry for asking for so many details, I'm trying to understand the  
blending code, but I can't see how it could ever be called with a non  
LAB colorspace type.
