I was also. This is mostly because a copy of the original is simple.

In the current combo box where we already have filters. Do you think

No! The main reason is for safety. My laptop HD can break at any moment.
At home I have a RAID storage. This feature is to be able to copy
locally some images to be able to edit, publish or print them. I think
this deserves the best quality, hence the copy.

For any serious work on the image (HD publishing or printing) you need
