Interesting.  The current default basecurve in DT for the 350D is "canon 
EOS like", whereas the 5D3 default is "canon EOS like alternate".  I 
guess that implies that the canon EOS like alternate might be a little 
better for the 350D, too (at least at replicating the out-of-camera JPG 
or embedded preview).
