Dear Tenebromensals, I’m using darktable version 2.0.4 (downloaded in .DMG form) on my iMac with OS X El Capitan version 10.11.5.
When I connect my Nikon D3100 via USB and click “scan for devices” the camera is not detected, although it is detected by other software - e.g. Apple’s “Photos” App, Nikon Transfer 2. Obviously, I can import using one of these programs, and subsequently import the images to darktable, but that defeats the object!
