Hi,

I really can't make heads or tails of how to combine masks in a sensible way.

Drawn masks can be controlled quite easily in the mask manager, adjusting the boolean logic somewhat easily/logically (although it really should have groups, so you could say "A and (B or C)" vs "(A and B) or C"), but then comes the parametric masks which throws everything out the window.

Is there any reason why the parametric mask has to work differently than drawn masks? Why make it more difficult? Why not add support for (multiple) parametric masks that work exactly like the drawn masks?

And the manual even shows how broken it is in the example in 3.2.8.3 where the background is only partly selected (any reddish hues will still show a bit) and the middle of the flower is grayed out. How is one supposed to make the background fully masked and none of the flower??

Regards,
Marcus
