If TurboPrint uses a GUI based on Qt, it's probably running into this: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-58733 The problem is that Qt has a fixed set of paper sizes it knows about and ignores everything else that it doesn't. This caused problems for one of our (Gutenprint's) users. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any indications of progress on this.
