by the way, I can see the history stack of changes only when I'm in
darkroom, not

in lighttable. Except this, when in darkroom, the small preview at the
bottom of the

screen of the pic I currently develop, it seems to be OK, in most of the
cases, but not always.

Fotis,
Take any image which is not displaying properly in darktable, and in the
light table view, click on the history module (left hand side of the
interface), and click on the bottom-most entry (0-original).
Did the image display correctly?
