That is very interesting, Jan. I did not even know of this setting.
However, it seems that the vast majority of the time, turning off
"perserve chrominance" actually improves the colours of my images. For
example, sometimes the greens in leaves look a little...sickly perhaps?
After turning off "preserve chrominance" they look a little better. I
have done about ten comparisons.

I can't explain the behaviour unfortunately but thanks for pointing that
out!
