If you have a description what exactly the procedure does (no marketing stuff, technical details, algorithms) someone might try to do so. But in meantime you can have a look at https://darktable-org.github.io/dtdocs/en/module-reference/processing-modules/diffuse/ a new sharpening module in the next release
