Hi, It turned out that in the lensfun database the "OS HSM" part of the data reported by exivtool was not there ie different lens after all, however the parameters for that lens seem to work fine with mine so I created a duplicate entry in the lensfundb with the additional "OS HSM" bit in the id line and all seems fine now (just need to "remove" then reimport a whole load of images to apply the correct lens data.
