Any > suggestions much appreciated. > > TIA That's expected behavior, it's meant to colorize the image after all. Using "color correction" to decrease saturation is a better idea. That having said, I think I never used the colorize module before, I wasn't even aware that it exists. :) > Francesco Tobias
