I found that the Olympus base curve (as well as the alternate) produced a tone curve not remotely resembling that found in the jpeg output (or the preview embedded in RAW files) of the Olympus XZ-1, so I created a curve which gets pretty close, and I'm attaching it for anyone else to use or improve upon.
