I use the LabCH Blend if finctionality regularly. It is both very handy and
well thought out. However I do not see a drawn mask option anywhere. Perhaps it
is a kayboard command that is not obvious. Unles I missed it the manual only
talks about conditional blanding, not drawn masks. Is this something not
present in the OSX build perhaps?
But even this is different than the funcationality I was inquiring about. LR
allows for brushes of varying size, "hardness", and opacity with which you can
paint on an adjustment. I.e. a contrast brush. This brings the user experience
much closer to a darkroom situation where you would burn and dodge various
parts of an image with different filters to achieve your final print. I know
the digital world is different than the analog darkroom but it is actually a
very nice experience and feels more interactive with the image and process.
