In theory it should work like this (for systems with >1 screen): First darktable will see on which screen the majority of the center widget is on. Let this be screen number <number>. When _ICC_PROFILE_<number> is set that profile will be used as the system display profile. When dt is compiled with colord support it will also try to ask that service for the display profile for the (most) relevant screen. Since sometimes the setup might give wrong results from either the xatom or colord (for me the xatom seems to not work, possibly an issue with my setup) recent compiles from git master have the option to limit this to only check the xatom, only ask colord or use both. So even with multi screen setups everything should work, as long as the center area is only on one screen. Otherwise parts will be wrongly corrected as we don't split the image up into separate parts when they overlap the screen border. > Is there a way to know which screen is color-corrected? Currently the only way to know which profile gets used is to start darktable with "-d control" and look for messages about loading profiles. darktable checks whenever the window is moved or resized. > Thanks for your answers, > Marie-Noëlle Tobias
