http://lensfun.berlios.de/calibration-tutorial/lens-calibration.html
explains how lens model names are matched. In particular, you can
see how you can change the lens name while staying equivalent for
LensFun.

LensFun. Open a bug report if a lens name in exiv2 doesn't match
the LensFun name.

This works because the 1.5 area is part of the 1.0 area. If the 1.0
calibration was done carefully, it can be used for smaller crops,
too -- unless they are really small.

It is nicer to have two LensFun entries, one for 1.5 and one for
1.0. LensFun actually contains such doubletts. However, it doesn't
seem to be able to handle them. At least UFRaw, Darktable, and
Rawstudio doesn't work, so I think it is a bug in LensFun.

Tschö,
Torsten.
