I'm trying to use Inkscape to create a watermark, which basically
consists of 2 lines of text - my name and under it my website URL.

I'm having huge problems with Inkscape. For some reason it insists on
making the text bold, even when I toggle bold off. I have to edit the
.svg in vim and change all the bold to normal.

I've tried a quite a few script fonts but they all seem to have
incorrect letter spacing, so periods disappear under the previous
character and such.

I just wondered if anyone knows of a better way of creating an svg?
Other that editing code from scratch, which is what I'm considering at
the moment.

What did you guys use to make the included watermarks that come with
DT?
