Theodore it is downright dangerous to work with the files in your 
photographs folder using the OS file manager, especially if you are not 
absolutely sure what you are doing. dt assumes that if you copy, 
duplicate or delete files, you do it using dt. If you perform 
manipulations using the OS file manager (i.e. outside of dt) the dt 
database of photographs gets out of sync with the photographic 
collection. One of the basic errors that Windows users make is the 
assumption that non-Win software should resemble and be ono-to-one 
comparable with Win software. Most of the time they arise from 
completely different philosophies and a one-to-one comparison is not 
really valid.
