Pascal didn't argue that accessing the XMP files from different programs 
wouldn't work, he just pointed out that getting to grips with a new program 
takes some time, and spending it could eventually turn out to be a good idea.

Bug reports and feature requests are welcome.

And what is that library supposed to do? XMP is just standard XML and well 
understood. If programs are not adhering to standards its a bug and nothing 
some external libraries should try to fix.
