dear All I feel the need to get to know more about the basics of digital imaging/processing.
While trial and error maybe a valid "technique" to explore the capabilities of darktable (or any other darkroom software) I would rather read up a systematic text which describes the fundamentals of digital color imaging/processing in the context of photography. This includes raw image formats, channels, hue, temperature and the lot. Dear developers, you certainly do have intimate knowledge about image processing with all ins and outs to be able to write the code you do, else you could not do it. My question is: where did you acquire the knowledge, are there any textbooks that you could recommend? any pointers would be appreciated. many regards and thanks in advance Eildert ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rapidly troubleshoot problems before they affect your business.
