When I try launching Darktable from Unity or terminal a window opens &
closes.
When launching from a terminal I get the message:
[tiff_open] 1456x2184 8bpp, 3 samples per pixel.
[tiff_open] warning: planar config other than contig is not supported.
darktable: /build/buildd/darktable-1.4.1/src/common/imageio_tiff.c:115:
dt_imageio_open_tiff: Assertion `0' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
I'm using the package: darktable 1:1.4.1-0pmjdebruijn1~quantal
on a Ubuntu 12.10 quantal 64bit system,
Kernel Linux 3.5.0-45-generic
Memory: 16GB
Processor: Intel Core i7-3630QM
I don't recall any recent tiff library updates or changes I might have
accidentally done to cause this issue.
Can anyone help or point me in a direction to get help?
