As I mentioned in the other post on the zenphoto site (link above), I used Exiftool to examine the tags, specifically the subject tags (e.g. my friends, birthday, home etc). Just to be clear what I'm talking about: in the lighttable module, there is a tagging section where one can append 'words' which act as search labels for the photos at a later date. Case 1: label photos using tagging module in lighttable, export raw to jpeg on hard disk. Examine with Exiftool which shows xmp subject tags in field 10 and hierarchical tags in field 27 (same in both). Case 2: upload DT jpeg to zenphoto which 'appears' to have no tags. Manually append the same subject tags (which can be easily done) as were used in DT. The photo now shows up on the site as having the same tags. Download photo to disk and examine with Exiftool which shows xmp subject tags in field 10 and hierarchical tags in field 27 (same in both), i.e. same as case 1. This shouldn't be surprising because, as you say, DT handles xmp and tagging fine. So why, when I upload it to my site (CMS: Zenphoto) do the tags not show up? I guess you're gonna say this is an issue for zenphoto's devs to deal with and you're probably right but this initial response didn't inspire me with a lot of confidence: http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=991637 so I thought I'd tap the brain power here :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Put Bad Developers to Shame Dominate Development with Jenkins Continuous Integration Continuously Automate Build, Test & Deployment Start a new project now.
