I would have more use for something that could be integrated non-interractively into existing backup/sync scripts, personally... when the discussion of hooks and GUIs comes up, it starts to seem a little bit silly to have to be using an external program, but that's just my opinion, and depends on 3. below... > > 3. Is this being seriously considered or discussed at all? It might be good to start there, before putting too much effort into anything external. If for some reason this change isn't going to be considered, though, the external tools will be very useful and welcome.
